Job Description:
BFC is seeking a Document Control Specialist to establish and maintain archives of regulated documents for the organization and to assist with document review and regulatory submissions.
Job
Responsibilities:
•
Functioning as a company expert for document imaging software.
•
Consulting with various business units in determining implementation and maintenance of the files.
•
Training others on software.
•
Performing tasks of scanning, indexing, and fill retrieval.
•
Act as first level supervisor for document scaning clerk(s).
•
Establish and maintain document filing system and electronic database to allow retrieval of archived regulatory information.
•
Retrieve stored information upon request.
•
Proofread assigned documents for accuracy, grammar, format and regulatory-oriented detail.
•
Assist in preparation and formatting of regulatory submissions and other documents. Prepare electronic regulatory submissions, if requested.
•
Perform imaging, conversion to PDF files, and archiving of electronic files.
Job Requirements:
•
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Access. High computer literacy and ability to learn new software if required.
•
Detail oriented with knowledge of scientific, medical, and regulatory terms. Excellent English written and oral skills.
•
Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment. Typing speed of 35wpm.
•
Excellent Interpersonal and Communications Skills.
•
Team player with high integrity.
