Kluge Press

Founded in 1907, Kluge has developed the reputation as the industry leaders in print finishing technology. Kluge’s four primary product lines consist of web presses, specialty print finishing, folding & gluing and blanking.

Web Presses – Kluge has engineered its Web Press System to deliver the most efficient changeover and set-up times possible so printers can produce more types of documents, faster. Available with offset and/or UV flexo, this press offers high and up to five colors, with in-line punching, perfing, numbering and/or slitting. Quick make-ready is assured with walk-in print units and plate/blanket cassettes that do not require breaking the web to change sizes. The optional In-Line Rotary Foil Stamping System allows you to foil stamp, emboss, as well as produce, and apply holograms in-line. Delivery alternatives include roll-to-roll, fold or sheet with automatic totalizing and batch counting with markers. Kluge also offers their WFE Web-Flow Press.
Specialty Print Finishing – Often called "the workhorse of the industry", the Kluge EHD series press features speeds up to 3,300 impressions per hour. Kluge's patented Delayed Dwell technology allows the EHD to start on impression sooner, bottom out, and remain on impression longer¬ doubling impression time with no loss of production speed and assuring flawless foil separation from the stock. Additional Kluge Specialty Print Finishing models consist of the EHF Series press and WFE Web-Flow press.
Folding & Gluing – The Flexfold Automatic Folder/Gluer is Kluge’s largest and fastest folding & gluing line, designed to meet the industry demand for a mid-range folder/gluer. Standard features include segmented folder rollers, easy-to-use adjustment point handles, multi-sheet detector, pivoting direct drive, dual vacuum wheels, synchronous belt drive system and self-aligning drive bearings. It also features a soft-touch color-screen control console. Additional Kluge Folding & Gluing models include the OmniFold, UniFold, Small Box Machine and EZ-Feed units.
Blanking – Kluge’s TXR Series Blank Separator is an offline machine that automatically separates or blanks, die cut sheets of stock. The advantages of the TXR include simplicity of design and operation, low maintenance; short make ready time, minimal to no stock waste and a reduction of labor versus blanking by hand.
